Dietetic Peer Enhanced E-Placement (PEEP)

After identifying the need to develop a scalable, high-quality practice-based learning (PBL) opportunities in dietetics we developed an innovative, virtual PBL model based on the peer enhanced e-placement (PEEP)model. PEEP integrates peer learning, tailored learning experiences, and supervisor-led progress reviews, ensuring students gain essential communication clinical skills in a flexible and accessible way. This approach not only expands placement capacity but also enhances learning outcomes, builds student confidence and reduces dependency on traditional NHS placements.

A publication in Dietetics Today can be found below on the success so far of the PEEP placement.
